Action Against Abduction has been granted £20,000 to develop the Clever Never Goes programme thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

The funding was awarded through People’s Postcode Trust, a grant giving charity funded entirely by players, and will ensure new Clever Never Goes schools resources can be developed for older primary age children.

Geoff Newiss, director of Action Against Abduction, welcomed the news saying “Funding like this is absolutely vital to small charities like Action Against Abduction. The grant will enable us to build the Clever Never Goes programme so that we can re-fresh the essential safety messages as children get older. Thank you to all the players of People’s Postcode Lottery for making this possible.”

Clever Never Goes was first launched in 2018. To date more than 700 schools from across the UK have registered for the schools pack.
